ronald jones ii record performance fuels usc's comeback win
The USC football team (6-3, 4-2) pulled off its first fourth quarter comeback since 2009 with a 38-30 victory over Arizona (5-5, 2-5) at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Freshman running back Ronald Jones II lead the Trojans with 177 rushing yards, setting a new USC school record for most rushing yards in a game by a freshman. Wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster played against the Wildcats despite having surgery to repair a torn ligament in his hand earlier in the week and posted 138 yards on eight catches and a touchdown.
