Connor McGlynn is an Emmy Award-winning producer based in Los Angeles forever striving to tell the best stories never before heard. He is currently the Senior Creative Producer at Rawlings Sporting Goods and Easton Diamond Sports. Connor graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Broadcast and Digital Journalism and minor in Sports Media Studies and happily boasts Philadelphia as his home city.

Beginning in April 2019 with Easton and 2021 with Rawlings, Connor manages all video production and photography efforts for the world-wide leader in baseball and softball equipment. This includes producing in-house content for product launches, partnering with sponsored teams, traveling the country to highlight marque events and creating native content for retailers and athletes. In doing so, Connor has served as the $1.5 billion company’s primary script writer, on-site director, producer, videographer, photographer and editor.

Connor continues to take content to new heights as a licensed commercial drone pilot.

Connor earned an Emmy for his work as a producer for NBC Digital on the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. During the Covid-delayed Games, he managed a team responsible for cataloging the largest amount of footage ever recorded at a live event and used the content to pitch and produce behind-the-scenes craft edit stories. Connor also worked on the 2018 PyeongChang and 2016 Rio Games in a similar role.

 

Prior to joining Easton, Connor served as the Digital Content and Programming Coordinator at FOX Sports West, acting as the primary content creator for FOXSportsWest.com and the FSW social media accounts — IG, Twitter, FB, YouTube. His work included producing a wide range of daily content from writing long-form features to editing highlights and graphics for social. In addition to his work focused on team partners like the Los Angeles Clippers and Angels, Connor field produced several episodes of XTRAPOINT, a digital-first feature series focused on off-the-field and human interest stories pertaining to athletics.

Connor has also freelanced at NFL Network since 2017 as a highlight supervisor on gamedays and as a production assistant for weekday shows.

Several of his other professional freelance positions include: Social Media Manager for the Rose Bowl Game ('14-'22), Vodcast Editor for Spotify (2020), and Beat Reporter and Recruiting Analyst for Rivals.com ('16-'18).

Though sports are his primary passion, Connor has demonstrated his skills as a proficient radio news reporter. He was named a runner-up for the 2018 LA Press Club Radio News award for his piece on homelessness and hunger in Los Angeles and won first place in the Radio Hard News Reporting category during the 2018 Broadcast Education Association national competition for his coverage of a local Los Angeles election.

A native of the Philadelphia suburb of Norristown, Connor is an Eagle Scout and was named the 2015 Chick Hearn Memorial Scholar and 2016 Allan Malamud Scholar before graduating Magna Cum Laude from USC in 2017. ​​​He is a diehard Eagles & Sixers fan and will happily spend 7-7:30 every night watching Jeopardy!
